Zenoss 4.2.5 - Just installed a couple weeks ago

I have an issue where the graphs for my cisco devices will display data for 6 hours, then not have any data for 6 hours. It is the same for all graphs, interface, temp, cpu, etc...

Screenshot Example:

The weird part is it is not happening on all the equipment, a few of the devices work fine.

I do have the Cisco EnvMon zenpack installed - http://wiki.zenoss.org/ZenPack:Cisco_Environmental_Monitor - which should be compatible with 4.2.5 but I am getting some errors in the event log of zenoss and it looks to be related to that zenpack. Could that be causing the problem A couple of the errors below:

Error 1:

Unhandled exception in zenhub service ZenPacks.zenoss.ZenJMX.services.ZenJMXConfigService.ZenJMXConfigService: 'CiscoFan' object has no attribute 'getThresholdInstances'

Error 2:

Unhandled exception in zenhub service ZenPacks.zenoss.PythonCollector.services.PythonConfig.PythonConfig: 'CiscoFan' object has no attribute 'device'

Error 3:

Unhandled exception in zenhub service Products.ZenHub.services.SnmpPerformanceConfig.SnmpPerformanceConfig: 'CiscoFan' object has no attribute 'snmpIgnore'

Even with these errors it appears the zenpack seems to work but I thought I would add them in case they were related.

Dan,

It looks like some things were missed when that pack was refreshed for 4.x. I'd suggest joining us for a dev hours to see if we can help you untangle/fix it. I have heard that uninstalling that zenpack is _VERY_ hairy. I advise that you do not uninstall it during any troubleshooting efforts.

ok, I will try to join during tomorrow's. Unfortunately I have already tried a re-install of this zenpack once because of these errors.

I read that the other community ciscoenvmon(http://wiki.zenoss.org/ZenPack:Cisco_Environmental_Monitor_%28NWN%29) warns that it does not uninstall correctly but I didnt see that warning on Egor's zenpack. I hope I don't need to reload zenoss again

I got this kind of fixed, removing and re-adding the zenpack a second time and deleting the /network/router/Cisco device class prior to install made the errors go away and the graphs to work again but now the monitoring template does not work correctly.

When I removed the CiscoEnvMon zenpack all my devices that were modeled still had the fans/power supply/temps components, shouldn't those go away if the zenpack is removed

I created a new template and added all the data sources and graph definitions and applied that template to one of my device class groups but the fans, power supplies, and temperature sensors numbers do not populate like they should with the zenpack device class. I can test the OID of my created data sources against a device and it returns valid data but not sure why the data wont populate.
