Subject: | Monitoring template causes AttributeError |

I created a zenpack with five plugins/maps and associated monitoring templates. Three of them work fine and put data into the rrd files. Two, however, are causing both myself and Zenoss 3.2.1 considerable angst.
When I bind one of the offending templates to the device class all appears well - the template shows up in the device class. But then when I refresh the page of a specific device in the class the monitoring templates disappear, and "Monitoring Templates" is in italics. I also frequently get a "AttributeError: getUIPath" popup error when loading the page.
I'm not a zenpack expert, but I've created a couple in the recent past using this same process and had no issues. I can snmpwalk the device in question, and when I model it with just the three working templates it throws no errors. I've tested for Python errors but can find none. A brief review by another zenpack person found no issues with my code.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. And no, I can't upgrade the version of Zenoss at this time.
Thanks.
