I installed the Zenpack.Roman.Tykhonov.OracleDB-2.0.egg zenpack to hopefully gain more insight into my Oracle servers. Only now if I open the device with the Template added and click on Config Properties I get an error:
AttributeError: zOracleDBInstance
Is there another method of editing config props that I can correct this

I can only wish I've never done this. I forget about half the time, and end up looking silly, and I work for Zenoss. Don't worry, it happens :)

I wanted to continue this posting as I've hit a wall with no apparent way through. The Zenpack in question, Roman Tykhonov's Oracle zenpack.. I cannot get it to work for me.
I'm still on version 4.2.0, following the pre-reqs, I installed the Oracle 12.1 instant basic and sqlplus clients. I could not find any way to install the full client because this server has no gui.. therefore no Java. I moved over 'tnsping' as per this site:

, copied over the tnsnames.ora that my DBA gave me, rebooted the server fully, installed the zenpack then restarted Zenoss and let it run over the weekend. Today my graphs were totally empty.
I went searching for a way to contact the author, to no avail. I wound up posting an issue on github (knowing that's not githubs purpose) but I figure the two contributors might see it and toss me a bone.
The 'official' tips and tricks pdf is not being hosted anymore either :(

Is there anywhere in teh underlying OS that might show some logs, like if teh sh's that are trying to be ran in this zenpack are failing and maybe an error msg

Upon further inspection.. maybe it's an overall graphing issue. I checked a couple other Linux and then Windows servers.. the graphs arent working for any of them.
