Zenoss 6.2 Build Custom Base Template

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone knows how I can configure the base Zenoss Control Center Template and then save it as a template to use for deploying multiple Zenoss environments.  Essentially, I want to configure LDAP, add ZenPacks, MIB files, etc... and then save it so that I don't have to redo the same base work everytime I create a new zenoss instance.  Would like to be able to load this base image once I have it configured into the Control Center so that I can then deploy it from there.

Hey,

Just use the backup feature in Control Center after you've completed the configuration that you're wanting to do.  You can then just restore that backup to any master Control Center server and it'll load all the same config in.  You'd need to do some small things like changing the IP assignments for some of the services in Control Center to the new IPs which only takes a couple seconds after the restore.
