zSnmpCollectionInterval changed but event threashold every 5 minutes

Hi All,

I need to monitor the performance of some interfaces quicker as i can.
To do it I changed zSnmpCollectionInterval from 300 to 60 seconds in the device involved.
Sniffing traffic on my server I see that Zenoss is correctly checking the device every 60 seconds,
but in case of problem, threshold seems to raise an Event after 5 minute and even device graphs
are update every 5 minutes.

Can someone explain me this behaviour?
How can I perform threshold check quicker?
