Cannot expand localhost in Zenoss GUI -> Control Centre

With the Zenoss 5 GUI there is a Control Center option from the ADVANCED menu that replaces the Collectors menu from earlier Zenoss versions.  It gives access, from the Zenoss GUI, to the various daemons, including access to performance graphs, config files and log files.

However, with 5.2.1 I  cannot expand the localhost menu to see the individual daemons and their configs, logs and graphs.  I get a yellow flashy saying:
"AttributeError: 'MonitorFacade' object has no attribute 'getMonitor'"

I have just spun up a 5.2.4 in the hope that this one was cured - logged as  https://jira.zenoss.com/browse/ZEN-27452   which has received no action since I opened it 6 weeks back.

This used to work in some earlier versions of Zenoss 5.x. Zenoss 5.0.7 / CC 1.0.7 it works. Not sure where it stopped working.

Can anyone else provide data, versions that work / don't work and emphasis to persuade Zenoss to fix this one.  Some folk have no access to the Control Center GUI and the loss of these menus mean you are flying blind with regard to daemons.

Cheers,
Jane

Hi Jane

I see the same issue in the Core Version 5.2.4 and 5.2.6 CC 1.3.2. On the other hand in Zenoss Resource Manager 5.2.4 it is working.

@Jane - This issue is now resolved and will be provided in our Amalthea release (internal code name for what will likely be RM / Core 5.3.0). This release is currently targeted for mid-Aug.
