Service Response Error when acknowledging events

I get a ServiceResponseError:.....when acknowledging events in Zenoss RM 5.2.2, it says ServiceResponseError: org.springframework.jdbc.UncategorizedSQLException:PreparedStaementCallback; uncategorized SQL Exception for SQL (SELECT * FROM event_summary WHERE uuid IN(?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?)

what does this mean and how do i fix it?
