Hey,
I'm running Zenoss 5. I recently added a machine to monitor in the SSH container. Username and password has been added to Configuration Properties as well. When I try to model it I'm getting "stdin: is not a tty" errors. I logged in myself to the account I'm using via ssh, my environment is set correctly. Any advice to resolve this issue Thanks.

Errors when modeling:
2015-09-24 20:42:31,391 WARNING zen.SshClient: channel 9 The command uname returned stderr data (1) from the device: stdin: is not a tty

2015-09-24 20:42:31,398 WARNING zen.SshClient: channel 9 The command uname -a returned stderr data (1) from the device: stdin: is not a tty

2015-09-24 20:42:31,401 WARNING zen.SshClient: : channel 9 The command cat /proc/meminfo returned stderr data (1) from the device: stdin: is not a tty

2015-09-24 20:42:31,404 WARNING zen.SshClient: : channel 9 The command /bin/cat /proc/cpuinfo returned stderr data (1) from the device: stdin: is not a tty

YIKES!
What do you get if you ssh into that box with the credentials you gave zenoss It looks like something borken in the env provided on the remote box.
If this is the case you may need to reply with the output of 'env' here.

I'm able to ssh into the box without any terminal issue. Its quite odd. Here is the env output:

Subject: Issue resolved

I have resolved this issue. This system is running RedHat/CentOS 6, but CPanel (http://cpanel.com/) has been installed on top of it. CPanel makes and manages tons of configuration changes to the operating system. One of those was adding "mesg y" to /etc/bashrc. Something to do with something it does for accounts it creates. This was causing the error. Its best not to change what cpanel changes, so I created a local account and removed the following from the account's ~/.bashrc:

if [ -f /etc/bashrc ]; then

. /etc/bashrc

fi

mesg y never got sourced from the global /etc/bashrc, which solved the problem. I could not fix this issue by setting mesg n in the account's ~/.bashrc, it gave a permission error.
