Subject: | Error when opening Event Console |
Author: | [Not Specified] |

I am unable to open the Event Console in Zenoss version 4.24. The error message I get is listed below. I have ran the following commands to try and troubleshoot the problem findposkeyerror, zodbscan, zenrelationscan, zencatalogscan which
are returned with errors. I have inherited zenoss from a previous user and still don't know alot the configuration of zenoss.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can look at other pages in Events (ie: Events Archive, Event Classes and Triggers. I
can also see the events for a device if I select Infrastructure and then select a device and then click on the error box on top. I
can also acknowledge the events for the Infrastructure page.
Here is the error message I am receiving.

this is an event db issue. It looks like you have some corrupt events in the DB. I would suggest trying to drop these via zensendevent, or zendmd http://wiki.zenoss.org/ZenDMD_Tip_-_Manipulate_Events, and then figure out where they are coming from. There's actually quite a bit of information about that in your error.
