Subject: | Zenoss Server with Multiple IP interfaces |

I would like to build a Zenoss server that has multiple IP interfaces (whether physical, virtual, or VLAN) but I wasnt' sure whether the server would automatically use the "closest" interface for queries. It does seem to work during discovery, but once the devices are under management, certain devices on certain networks become unreachable by Zenoss even though they are reachable from the server (via ping or snmpwalk).
Is this behavior inherent or does it require configuration

You can. All our servers (Zenoss included) has two IP's (NICs).
All our traffic routes through the primary IP. We do not have Zenoss traffic going over both IP's.
Is that what you are trying to do Also, what discovery are you using

Previous Zenoss shows "Unknown" for interfaces on secondary router |
Next Unable to gather data from zenperfsnmp |
