Have a look on the wiki at
http://wiki.zenoss.org/Install_Zenoss#Auto-deploy_Installation and follow the link to my auto-deploy script which includes an Ubuntu version.

What version of ubuntu did you use, did you use ubuntu verison 14.04 when you installed it?
