Want to have a play with 6.1 and deployed the .ova via vCenter. I've gone in to Edit the network connection, which is "ens33", and I've added all the static address information. I then tried to ping it from another PC on the same LAN, but the ping did not respond. Investigating further shows me that "ens32" is still the active interface which was auto-installed with DHCP! I don't feel like I've missed a step here, so why is my "ens33" interface not replacing the old "ens32"?
P.S. I am following the 6.1 Installation Guide to the letter.

Forget it, I see my mistake....should've select the 'wired connection'. Apologies for wasted post!
