Nginix 502 error after rebooting appliance

Good afternoon, all!

I have been working with the VMware appliance Core for a bit. I had to shut it down to try and migrate to a different ESXi host. When I restarted the VM it throws an Nginix 502 error when I try to access the login. No amount of rebooting or surgery has availed. I'm thinking of starting over with either the straight ISO image or maybe a different approach to monitoring altogether.

Any suggestions for rescuing this installation and maybe leaning down the resources this thing gobbles up?
