So I have just installed Zenoss core 5.1 (with CC 1.1.3) as a zookeeper ensemble using the 3 host setup.
I have gotten past the installations and configurations, and am at a point where Zenoss is running as expected within CC. My master CC host is in the master pool, while my identical resource hosts are both in the default pool.
The problem is, I can't seem to get to the actual zenoss application/dashboard. The vhost URL of Zenoss.core is the hostname of my master host, and my host files seem to be configured correctly. Yet, whenever I try to click on the Zenoss.core endpoint, the site always ends up with "The site can't be reached. The connection was reset. ERR_CONNECTION_RESET."
Anyone else try out the zookeeper ensemble yet, or are able to point me in the right direction

Never mind... it was a DNS issue.
On a similar note, there isn't much documentation regarding this ensemble set up, other than it is recommended and the steps to set it up.
Do all of the services just get randomly assigned to either of the resource hosts in the default pool They seem to be configured that way. Are these assignments static, or can they be reassigned if the resources need to be more distributed evenly
Is there a reason why 2 resource hosts are recommended I currently have both my resource hosts set up as VMs on a single host. Why would it not be recommended to just build one large VM with the same amount of resources It was kind of annoying to have to go through the process twice, and would hate to have to do it again in the future for any reason.
Just looking for some more info on this configuration. Thanks
