I have tried to install Zenoss on an AWS VM, probably about 10 separate times now using both the manual install method and the auto deploy script. No matter what I do, I run into problems. I can not access Control Center at all and I keep getting the error:
Dec 21 19:46:50 ip-172-31-9-8.ec2.internal serviced[7044]: I1221 19:46:50.179540 07044 daemon.go:516] Trying to discover my pool...
Dec 21 19:46:50 ip-172-31-9-8.ec2.internal serviced[7044]: W1221 19:46:50.181060 07044 daemon.go:526] masterClient.GetHost 1fac0809 failed: hosts_server.go host not found (has this host been added)
Can someone please help me troubleshoot this I am new to this and I have spent almost 20 hours trying to install with no luck.

My most recent attempt at installation was a manual installation so I have no auto-deploy script log. Output from journal ctl -u serviced -f provided athttp://pastebin.com/37UQ3mmv . Thanks!

I am not able to log into Control Center. Whenever I go to https://52.2.119.157 I get a connection time out.

Also, I don't know if I set up the correct IP / hostname for my host. I'm using an elastic IP from AWS. When I look up my hostname for my elastic IP (52.2.119.157) I get ip-172-31-9-8.ec2.internal. My /etc/hosts file looks like:
52.2.119.157 ip-172-31-9-8 hbase.ip-172-31-9-8 opentsdb.ip-172-31-9-8 rabbitmq.ip-172-31-9-8 zenoss5.ip-172-31-9-8
Does that help

Indeed. Well like I said, I have tried this installation process close to 10 times now. If you don't have any suggestions I guess I am SOL.
