Zenoss5 MIBS

Is there a file that comes with Zenoss5 that has pre-loaded MIBS I have a new version installed that is providing traps as needed, but that are in raw OID format and all classified as Unknown. In my previous install 4.2.5, I noticed I had over 2000 MIBS installed that translate the MIBS for me.

I have loaded a few MIBS manually, but that are also not helping much and still classify the events as /Unknown.

Any help would be appreciated.

the answer for those finding this later via google is to create a transform based on the event. Example transforms can be found here: http://wiki.zenoss.org/Category:Transforms

A base load of ZenOSS 5 provides no visible MIBs for use by the alert syslog process. Is there something left to do to have MIBs available, or do you need to somehow 'bulk' load MIBs on your own I have all the MIBs I need, but... Loading single MIBs via the GUi is simple.... but not practical for large numbers of MIBs. Is there something I am missing here as to how to load MIBs

I have been using ZenOSS for many years at this point.... but like many people are wading through the DOCKER curve for v5. ZenOSS 5 I will assume uses MIBs to translate traps which is why I want to load many into the /opt/zenoss/share/mibs folder within the running Zenoss.core instance. So the question is more of a learning curve query as to how to load anything into this new containerized ZenOSS. I wish to also load in new custom reports and their associated plugins.

Jane,

Z5 is a new product. If you (or anyone else for that matter) finds a documentation deficiency, please use JIRA, create a new bug and select "Doc update".
