Zennoss 5 not working

Hi everyone,

I am new to zennoss and have installed it from the autodeploy script listed below:

I am able to siiign in to the control center and everything is blue checked on my zennoss application. when i try to access zennoss itself though the connection is not available. I was wondering if zennoss 5 is still located on port 8080 or if that has changed since 4.2

For example i enter http://localipaddress:8080

If this is not correct or if anyone has suggestions i would really appreciate it!

If I am not mistaken, the correct address to use in order to get to the actual Zenoss monitoring applicance would be:

https://zenoss5.your-server-ip-address

Notice the protocol (https) and the sub-domain (zenoss5). The exact url can be found listed in your Virtual Host Names section: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/monitoringartist/zenoss5-core-autodepl...

This is because all of the applications are running as a Virtual Host on the same server.

You need to make sure the names are resolvable on the machine where you are running your web browser and that is unlikely to be your Zenoss 5 server. Make DNS entries or entries in your local windows hosts file.

You may still want to CAREFULLY read the install guide regarding hosts. Dpirmann's help is on point here.
