Subject: | New install - No deployment wizard. |

Greetings,
Just set up a new Zenoss installation following the Zenoss Core 5 Installation Guide on the wiki, and everything went really well. Great install doc, by the way, thorough and easy to follow. Simple installation, single server. When I finished the install and got to the "Deploying the Zenoss Core application" section, and log into it with the browser, I don't get the Deployment Wizard. I just get the Control Center with all the tabs (Applications, Resource Pools, Hosts, Logs, Backup/Restore) all blank, with no entries.
Is there a way to start the deployment wizard manually, or have I done something wrong Does this mean I don't need the deployment wizard, and I should just add a resource pool and go
Thanks a ton for any advice anyone has.
Best regards,
Joe

From the control center, with the app deployed (refresh if you don't see it), click the URL in the app "line" in the list, and that takes you to zenoss 5 itself.
ps: if you followed the installation doc, i believe you will have failed to install quilt, right

Just in case anyone else runs into this the solution is simple. In this scenario you are working thru the "Deploying the ZenossCore Application" section of the Zenoss_Core_Installation_Guide_r5.0.0_latest.pdf. You log into the Control Center web interface, and the deployment wizard does not start, you are just left at the Applications tab.
Click The +Application button and it starts the wizard. It took me way too long to figure this out, lol.
Cheers!
Best regards,
