Hello,

I am new to the Zenoss community, but hope to be here for a while and eventually payback the good will that you all provide to new users. I have been a linux admin for a few years but am new to Zenoss and SNMP Monitoring in General.

I have a remote RH6 install with Zenoss 4.2.5. I am able to use Zenoss from localhost and have a ssh tunnel looping back so I can configure Zenoss remotely. I am now interested in allowing access to the Zenoss Interface to my other team members over the LAN/WAN.

Do you have to bind Zenoss to a NIC or Interface I been digging around in the zenoss and zope configs with no luck. This is incredibly hard to search for on Google and the forums since there are so many instances of Zenoss/Bind/Interface that reference the item being monitored instead of binding the host interface.

Thanks in adance for your help.

Brian

*SOLVED*

I was over-thinking the issue. I was so focused on Zenoss that I neglected to test my port forwarding rules. Derp!

I too have done this. When in doubt blame the firewall! :)
