Subject: | Migration of Transforms from a 3.X install to 4.X |

I am building out a fresh Zenoss 4.2.5 installation and am attempting to migrate the transforms that I have written in my old 3.X installation with no luck.
I dont really care about any of the other information in the database, but those transforms took a very long time to get "just right" and I really hate to think about having to rewrite them all again.
Does anyone have an idea on how to dump the transforms and then import them into the new Zenoss installation
Always code as if the guy who ends up maintaining your code will be a violent psychopath who knows where you live.

The transforms are probably going to require some reworking. The event system in 4.x is a complete rewrite. This means that variables will change, and some of the syntax will change as well. I would suggest that you refer to: http://www.skills-1st.co.uk/papers/jane/zenoss4-events/
