Subject: | Liberation Fonts Installed and New 4.2.5 Core Install does not agree |

New Server running CentOS 6.5 and have taken care of a couple other dependency errors. The remaining error "requires liberation-fonts" stops the process. The four liberation fonts packages were installed from the begining, but after seeing that others had fixed this by removing them and installing them again, gave that a try. Still have the same problem. Tried adding a symbolic link into /usr/share/X11/fonts and that did not work, but I really do not know where Zenoss Core install is looking for Liberation Fonts. Groundwork has device limits, but at least I can install it much much easier! Frojon

So, retry with the 4.2.4 core was successful and clean. However, the result of start goes like this even though the Java in PATH is the Oracle Java specified for 4.2.4
service zenoss start
Zenoss not initialized. Performing first-boot initialization...
Fresh install pre steps
Please confirm that the JRE in the PATH is Oracle's version.

Ran the alternatives install for Java 1.6 up 31 with incorrect path. Once that was corrected everything has gone to plan! The broken links had to be removed with the "alternatives" before using "alternatives" again to insert the correct links in /usr/bin. Have run the start and the zenup with success; and will continue with initial devices in a couple days. ---Frojon
