Installing a new zenoss server and I'm not able to get the maps api to work. I have tried several different ways of entering the domain and still get a message that the server encountered an error when trying to retrieve a map from google. I've gone to the site, started the project, started a public api, asked for a browser version and have entered the domain/hostname several different ways including the way I used to. For example lets say to get to the site it is https://rumnet.bilyybobs.net:14032.
so I tried;
rumnet.bilyybobs.net:14032 (the way I used to), https://rumnet.bilyybobs.net:14032, rumnet.bilyybobs.net:14032/* and so on. Still get the error. Anyone have any ideas
Thanks,
tk
ps version is 4.2.3

Try creating a Key for server applications and then use this for the ip "0.0.0.0/0" to see if it works, it did for me!
If it works, then update to be the IP for your FQDN...

Tikhorses,
4.2.0-4.2.3 had a MAJOR bug in the google maps API. It doesn't appear that you've run into it, but before you do, I strongly suggest upgrading to 4.2.4. This can simply be done by installing the 4.2.4 rpm and any unmet dependencies.
