Device Add Infinitely Pending

Hey guys,

I just got started with Zenoss, and I am not sure how to tackle this issue. I have previously been able to add devices, quickly, without issue. Now, everytime I add a device, it will stay in "pending". Thanks ahead of time.

Sounds like something is not right in the background. If you have Zenoss 4, as the zenoss user, what do you get with:

zenoss status

You should see all daemons running.

If you have Zenoss 5, navigate to the Control Centre with your browser and check that all the daemons in Zenoss.core are running - zenmail may not be, and that's not an issue, but the others should all be running.

Can you submit logs from zenjobs. Here is how you get them.

1) Add a test device

2) If it's zenoss 5, do serviced service attach zenjobs.

3) su - zenoss && zenjobs debug && tail -F /opt/zenoss/logs/zenjobs.log

4) There should be a job running for adding device. Submit those logs here.
