I have a service account setup to use with winrm for windows monitoring. The problem i have is the account keeps getting locked out and im having problems tracking down what is causing it. I have used the account lockout tools in AD but everytime its a different server. In zenoss polling that server using the model devicebutton works fine. Nothing else uses this account.

I've had a similar issue many times. There are two issues I have seen:
1. When adding multiple devices, the WinRM password gets set to something other than my password.
2. After some time (I really don't know the length) random devices get set with a local zWinRMPassword.
You can identify which devices have the incorrect password by
1. Goto the device class where you set your password
2. Go to "Details"
3. Go to "Overridden Objects"
4. In the drop down box at the top, select "zWinRMPassword"
This will return a list of device classes where the password is different than your current device class. If you double-click the line with the issue, you getanother box that will give you the device name. Then you need to go to that device and delete the local zWinRMPassword.

In that case, the easiest check is to log into one of the last servers or if possible the domain controller and identify where the login event came from. This will help you to track the source down.
