The lastest upgrade guite only mentions the upgrade on same machine. But If you have a server with 5.0.3 (CC 1.0.3) - with BTRFS driver - How to upgrade on a differente server to 5.0.9 (CC 1.0.9) - DEVICEMAPPER driver
I try to backup (5.0.3) / restore on 5.0.9 server, but a "BTRFS driver error" is displayed.

you're going to have to restore then upgrade.
