hi,

im running a fresh zenoss 4.2.5 latest zenup with 1000 devices and the zenperfsnmp is showing Missed_runs.

I have tried changeing the maxparalell and triespercycle but still get missed runs.

I have debugged zenperfsnmp but didnt find anytning wierd. nothing weird in zenhub.log or event.log either.

Runs on a dual xeon (32cores) with 128gb ram and raided ssd enterprise disks.

running on ~2% cpu 75GB free ram .

I notice that making changes, like putting a device interface in down will not get noticed by the system at all or it will take a bit to long time. I will se the traffic graph drop before the status changes. Not sure ifthis is related to the missed runs or not.

Anyone got any tips

Mathias

you're likely running into an issue where you need more collectors simply because it can't work in parallel fast enough. You might try adding more zenhub worker threads and more zopes. (in $ZENHOME/etc)
