Hi Guys,
I hope someone can guide me in the right direction.
We have Zenoss Core 5 setup an its monitoring the devices of our customers. These device are from different vendors ( Juniper, Cisco, Redhat). These devices are setup to send SNMP traps to our Zenoss. We regularly receive snmp trap/events that we are not interested in. Iknow that we can create transforms that drop the traps so that zenoss does not generate a event for them, but this method is tedious.
I would like to create per device class a white list that contains the snmp traps we are interested in. All other events should be ignored and only be shown in the event history.
Is such a thing possible

It's absolutely possible but would likely require a non-existant ZenPack. While dropping traps is tedious, it's the current best practice, but if you want to fix it, absolutely write a ZenPack!
