I am having some trouble getting email set up on Zenoss. I can not even run the test email. I get an error along the lines of Errno 111 - Connection Refused. Does anyone have any experience with this I have Zenoss Core 5 set up on an Amazon EC2 instance. I would be happy to post error logs if I knew where I should be looking for them....
Hope someone can help!

That is the message that I get whenever I try to "test" email. Does anyone have any experience with this My previous attempts have been futile!

Yes, I have Postfix installed, but I can't seem to get it to relay through Gmail.

Update. I have enabled postfix to relay with gmail but I still can not get Zenoss to work with this set up. How can I have zenoss send messages through postfix

This depends on how postfix is set up. Provide the Advanced tab the IP address of the postfix server, and take a look at the postfix logs for errors. I'm pretty good with postfix so if you get stuck, paste the log from postfix and I might point you in the right direction.
You'll probably have to set postfix up to allow relaying from Zenoss.

Update again. Zenoss is now able to send out the test email as well after I adjusted the settings in Advanced -> Settings for smtp through gmail.
