Well, That I know..

Sometimes the Index/eventdb gets corrupted and what happends is that events get stuck. You cant ACK/CLOSE events. Ghost events ..

This is now happening all the time and its happening when the event goes to the state Cleared. So the event is in state Cleared but is still showing up on the Event console with cleared status unticked.

Backup^3. Stop Zenoss completely (memcache included). Kill all zenoss user processes. Delete indexes (archive, summary). Reboot server and start zenoss.

I have not tried that but no luck.

Stopped everything, cleared the indexes and rebooted. It started up and the events where fine until I got 8 new events that ticked on for about 10-30 minutes.. When the devices responded again; 2 events cleared and 6 got stuck ...

I have the same problem with zenoss 4.2, do you solved the problem now
