Two Events Transform into One?

Hi,

RM 4.25

I'm trying to monitor traffic thresholds on redundant interfaces, we only want to see notifications if conditions are met on two different interfaces at the same time. The problem is that traffic can switch between the interfaces, and dropping below threshold does not mean there is a problem, unless both interfaces go below threshold. We don't care about routing changes or load balancing, only if overall traffic goes down, but the whole core network is redundant so there is no single point to monitor.

I don't think I can set a notification if two separate events are triggered
it seems like the notification rules will only apply to a single event, i cant have it match "all" or "any" of different events.

It seems like this would need to be in a transform somehow, but i don't know where to start and cant find much about it.

Thanks.

Can you use http://wiki.zenoss.org/ZenPack:Calculated_Performance
You will create derived datapoint and then you will have only one event.

Devops Monitoring Expert advice: Dockerize/automate/monitor all the things.

DevOps stack: Docker / Kubernetes / Mesos / Zabbix / Zenoss / Grafana / Puppet / Ansible / Vagrant / Terraform / Elasticsearch
