Hi,
Where can I change the Zenoss default ping interval
Currently also using the "PING" data source, I changed the cycle time to 600 seconds but on my graphs it still gets plotted every 300 seconds.
Any ideas

in 5.x it may be interpolating for "missed" pings. You may be seeing a graph artifact rather than an actual ping cycle issue. Check the ping logs, and maybe do a tcpdump on the remote host to confirm you have a ping interval problem.

I checked tcpdump, and it shows that Zenoss pings every 5 minutes.
What else can I check I have tried restarting the zenping daemon to no avail.

I guess that your solution will be config of zenping daemon.

Fixed it by doing the following:
Advanced>Control Center>Localhost->Details
Changed the Ping Cycle Interval value to 600 and voila.
