I have seen this on multiple workstations where we access zenoss for monitoring. We keep the events tab open all day long, and every morning when I come into the office I get the following yellow banner on the top:
"Connection refused. Check zeneventserver status on Daemons"
The daemon is running, and just clicking the banner to acknowledge it is enough to clear it up. Any idea why we keep seeing i though

take a look at $ZENHOME/logs and paste anything interesting that shows the next time this occurs.
