Can I choose the polling method for a specific OID?

I have an issue when monitoring some cambium antennas (ePMP) because of a firmware issue. Basically the issue is that I can do an snmpbulkget but I can't do a snmpget.
This makes the OIDs I need in zenoss no graphicable. Is there any workaround that I can do in zenoss so I can retrieve the values using snmpbulkget or snmpwalk instead of snmpget

See here for the whole explanation on their cambium site: http://epmp.community.cambiumnetworks.com/customer/portal/questions/8167...

The correct answer is to have you e-mail Cambium and make them fix their broken implementation of SNMP.

that doesn't help you, so as a workaround:
Follow the instructions here, but pay careful attention to the "Use SSH" box, and uncheck it. Write a script to get the data you want and use a local command data source to extract it. http://wiki.zenoss.org/Writing_Command_Data_Sources
Note that this will take a performance hit if you're monitoring a lot (hundreds) of these antennas.

I would also strongly suggest stopping by on IRC for Dev Hours to confirm that the issue is actually with SNMP and isn't something else. The schedule can be found here: http://www.zenoss.org/blog/201408/announcing-more-dev-hours-0

Apparently I wasn't subscribed to the thread and I dind't see your reply until now, in the meantime, cambium fixed the issue on the snmp gathering, so on updated antennas this is no longer an issue.
Thanks anyway for your reply and for the useful tips.

Joan
