Subject: | Set CPU Load Threshold based on number of CPUs |

I searched through the forum and online but I could not find an answer to this. I want the load threshold for a server to be reflective of the total number of CPUs that is has. A server with 2 CPUs should have a lower load threshold than a server with 8 CPUs. Is there any way to do this without having to create a custom threshold for each server

http://wiki.zenoss.org/ZenPack:Calculated_Performance should have the math bits needed to do what you're trying to do. Note that you might need to create a small addon zenpack to query the server for the number of CPU's so that Calculated Performance can do the math.
