Hi

I need help or guidance on how to monitor Windows Server CPU,memory and hard disk capacity and create graphs. I managed to use "Devices" monitoring template to generate interface utilization for Cisco equipment but have no idea which monitoring template to use for Windows Server to generate graphs for CPU, memory and hard disk. Please help. Thanks.

Zorro:
I would suggest using a ZenPack we have created specifically for this purpose. It goes even farther than that and uses the latest windows resource management (WinRM) system to monitor.

We have almost 400 zenpacks available today, you may find that rather than hand creating templates (though a hugely useful skill), you want to use a ZenPack, or write one yourself. Check out our ZenPacks here:

Trelane,

After watching the vidoe demo for Windows ZenPack, I did not notice that I need to enable SNMP on the Windows Server. Is this correct that SNMP does not have to be enable on Windows Server

this zenpack should use WinRM, not SNMP but it may still collect some metrics from SNMP if available.
