Looking under a couple windows servers that I just successfully modeled, I go to inspect the Windows Services part and the Monitored column was totally greyed out.. Cannot click the check box on any service. What can I do

It doesn't appear that Zenoss automatically graphs those services. Maybe in the new Microsoft ZenPack that came out with 4.2.5 it does by default

You can't click that box, you need to highlight the service and cclick the "gear" icon. Choose monitoring -> yes.

I tried Mike.. that method did not work either. I will try the Zenpack and report back.

The Zenpack install failed :
ERROR Zserver uncaptured python exception, closing channel I got it.. Python and Microsoft now installed. The column is still grey, however I can click on the hyperlink for the service name and open the WINSERVICE properties page and enable Monitoring that way. Seems odd and almost like taking the back door but I guess it works.
