Hello,

I'm trying to get WMI working on our Zenoss 4.2.4 Core box. I thought we were all set however I'm starting to get this error "Error collecting performance data:". This event is showing that zenwinperf as the component. It's been a couple of hours an zenoss is not populating the performance graphs.

This server I'm testing is Windows Server 2008 R2. The service account has access to DCOM and WMI.

Has anyone seen this error What does it mean

Thanks

Make sure that the zWinUser is in this format: DOMAIN\username

Next try using the "administrator" account to see if you can poll the perf data, if you can, then you need to find out what is missing from your "service account".

What method does the service account have access to DCOM/WMI
Did you change the "everyone" account DCOM launch options

I have set zWinUser as DOMAIN\username. I can't look at this until next week, but thanks for the help.
