Hi,

I've Zenoss monitoring the interfaces of my firewall.

Today I've upgraded my link from 10mb to 20mb.
How can I change the zenoss to only send alerts when I get usage around 18mb(90%) in the interface that I upgrade the bandwith

Currently this is sending alerts when the link reach 9mb or over it.

Thanks.

What's the speed can you see of the interface. If the speed is still 10mb, try to remodel the device manually. Then see it again. You can't change the interface speed manually.

It all depends on the speed of the interface for your WAN and how Zenoss detected it. I believe Flyingfish007 is correct, it was probably modeled at 10Mbps and a remodel should help. If you absolutely have to change the speed of the interface in Zenoss, then take a look at this article: http://wiki.zenoss.org/ZenDMD_Tip_-_Change_Interface_Speed

Thanks... but where and how should I execute this script

Sorry, but I'm very newbie in Zenoss and I'm very lost.
If you have a adminguide or video lesson about Zenoss I will appreciate.

Don't run the script if you're not sure how to do it, do some research on Zendmd and read the admin zenoss guide!

whether the meaning of your evexuting the script is to remodel the device. If yes, you can click into the device in the zenoss which you have changed the speed. Then you can see action button, click it then you can see the button to remodel device.
