Hello!
I'm having an issue with the zenwinperf, the daemon stops every 5 minutes after I started it.
I was looking in the log if I could found something that explain why the daemon stops, but I couldn't find anything, the only thing is "zen.winperf.PerfRpc: Bad counter for device.." with almost every device. I'm not sure what this warnings means, but I did what here is suggested: http://community.zenoss.org/message/74267 after transform the event scritp, it doesn't show me the warings in the event console, but the zenwinperf still stopping every 5 minutes
Anyone can help me
Thanks a lot.

Usually this happens when that daemon has issues monitoring WMI devices. Your best bet is to run ZenUp and set the daemon to watchdog=yes

Zenoss Version 4.2.4
SP405 ZUP File February 26, 2014 (Current)
CentOS 6.5
We have the exact same issue and I ended up having to set "watchdog=yes", but IMHO this is a Band-Aid, not a solution. Hopefully this will be addressed in a ZUP soon!!!
Cheers,
Clint
