Hi Guys,
How Zenoss internally genearte '/status/heartbeat' alert for itself I would like to know the internal working, the reason is i am having zenoss 4.1 everything is functioning as normal, but i could see heart beat alerts for 'zenhub' but zenoss is functional, i could see events getting updated etc. I want to find the root cause why this alert is getting generated and why
Thanks
Sandeep

I think it was a bug....but it's been a while since I used 4.1
Verify all your daemons are running and then try adding "localhost" to be monitored (meaning the zenoss server itself). If localhost is already there, remove it. One of those usually fixed it for me.
Of course you could always just upgraded to 4.2.4 :)

I would suggest that you read the Zenoss Admin Guide and then do some research into the code to see how it works.
