Subject: | How to organize devices tree |

Hi:
We have Zenoss community edition with the windows zenpacks
These is our Devices tree
DEVICES~Server~Microsoft~Windows
We have different physical locations and each one with the one domain, so we thought we could add the locations under windows, so we will end up with
DEVICES~Server~Microsoft~Windows~Location1
DEVICES~Server~Microsoft~Windows~Location2
The reason we added the two location nodes is because our domain are different between locations so we need different WinRM credentials
Then we started to add servers
DEVICES~Server~Microsoft~Windows~Location1~Server #1
DEVICES~Server~Microsoft~Windows~Location1~Server #2
DEVICES~Server~Microsoft~Windows~Location2~Server #3
DEVICES~Server~Microsoft~Windows~Location2~Server #4
DEVICES~Server~Microsoft~Windows~Location2~Server #5
Most of thigs do work, except that we do not see all templates
Under DEVICES~Server~Microsoft we see the following templates:
Active Directory
Cluster
Device
IIS
MSExchange
Under DEVICES~Server~Microsoft~Windows we see the following templates:
Active Directory
Device
IIS
MSExchange
Under DEVICES~Server~Microsoft~Windows~Location1 we see the following templates:
Active Directory
Device
IIS
MSExchange
Under DEVICES~Server~Microsoft~Windows~Location1~Server#1 we only see the following template:
Device
And we need to be able to also have
IIS
Did anybody run into the same issue

The ZenPack is designed to determine if certain roles are installed on your server. If IIS is installed, then it should automatically apply the IIS template to that device. If it's not there and you want it there, you can go to the bottom-left of the page, click on the gear button, and then to "Bind Template".
