mysql and memcached high memory usage

We are using Zenoss core 4.2.4. Mysql and memcached processes use high memory resource. How to fix it in Event console, it is about 2200 events. There are 1390554 events in Event archive . About 600 servres are being monitored by Zenoss.Thanks
