Hi Everyone,
I am hoping someone here can help. I am trying to get SNMPv3 to work with my HP Proliant servers that have the basic iLO boards in them.
On the servers themselves I created a security name, auth passphrase, private passphrase and select the types (MF5 and DES). I have also specified an EngineID (a six digit hex number starting with 0x).
I then took all of these settings and put them into the configuration properties for my server in Zenoss. I also made sure that all the modular plugins were added for my zenpack. But it's not working.
When I specify the engineID in the configuration and then model the device I get an error message saying "Invalid engine ID value after -e flag." and when I remove it the modeling seems to finish by there is no SNMP data in Zenoss.
So what am I doing wrong here
Thanks in advance for the help!

Can try
1. Removing the 0x
2. Make sure the EngineID is unique across all devices in your environment.
