Zenoss 4.2.4 unable to bind HTTP_Monitor template

Subject: Zenoss 4.2.4 unable to bind HTTP_Monitor template

I followed the instructions in http://wiki.zenoss.org/ZenPack:HTTP_Monitor as follows, but the HttpMonitor never showed up. The only thing that is different from the instruction is that there is no "Submit" to click in step 5, just "Save" (or Cancel) after I moved HttpMonitor from available to selected, which I clicked. I checked /opt/zenoss/log without finding any error (Clicking Save does not produce any error either). Thanks for any help in tracking it down or letting me know how to troubleshoot.

1. Select Infrastructure from the navigation bar.
2. Click the device name in the device list. The device overview page appears.
3. Expand Monitoring Templates, and then select Device from the left panel.
4. Select Bind Templates from the Action menu. The Bind Templates dialog appears.
5. Add the HttpMonitor template to the list of selected templates, and then click Submit. Note: Prior to Zenoss 2.4, this template was not available. If your version is prior to Zenoss 2.4 you must create the template, data source and graphs manually. For more information, refer to Zenoss Service Dynamics Resource Management Administration.
The HttpMonitor template is added to the list of monitoring templates. You can now begin collecting Web server metrics from the device.

It should be "save" and not "submit". After clicking save you should see the new template listed under "monitoring templates" on the device overview page. From there, just click your template and modify as needed.

If you don't see it, restart zenoss, but MikeC79 is correct it should be listed under Monitoring Templates
