Zenoss 4 - no view

Hello,
We use Zenoss 2.5 and Zenoss 3. We are testing Zenoss 4. In the old version, we can manage views by group. This feature seems to not exist in the last version.
Is it available with a Zenpack Or something else

This feature is a "must have"! We have chosen Zenoss for that. A server is managed by an "OS team" and an "application team". We have to seperate in a different views, events due to OS error or due to application errors!

Thanks

The views setup has changed, it's now slightly different, not sure if the old functionality is still available.

However, modify the Events screen to view the information you want, then click Configure -> Save this Configuration. That will provide you a link that you can bookmark for the different teams.

Hello,
Thanks for the answers. Is it possible to make a filter with "and, "or", "not"... operators Regex

Thanks

Not that I've seen.....perhaps there is a ZenPack you can use to get that functionality but I haven't seen it.

Did you find a way around this I really don't understand why Event Views were removed in 4.x.

We're currently looking to migrate from 3.x to 4.2.x but not having a way for a team to create a dashboard of events in which they're interested is a real showstopper.

As per the comments above we could almost get around it by setting up an event console and saving the configuration. Except for the fact the we (still) can't use regexes in the event console search fields.

I'd suggest joining us for Dev Hours on IRC, and constructing a portlet that expands the existing event views.
