Hi,

new guy here but I know this has been discussed before (a lot). However I can't find a (simple enough) solution to the problem.

Case: I've got a fresh install of Zenoss 4.2.4 and the latest AWS Zenpack 2.1. Communication with my AWS account looks OK. I get all instances, VPC's and S3's listed - but NO graph data.

It's the same in our 4.2.0 and 4.2.3 installations so I had hoped upgrading/installing a new instance would help. But no.

Any and all help is appreciated!

Edit: I found this thread, http://techynfreesouls.blogspot.se/2012/08/get-cloudwatch-metrics-using-...
But it indicates that this patch should be integrated in the Zenpack by now.

Regards,
/Stefan

An update on this, I played around with permissions on AWS and managed to get this puppy running. So a tip for anyone running into this problem with 4.2.4, check so your AWS user has the correct CloudMetric ReadAll permissions on AWS.

Cheers!

I've also just verified that with the same AWS account credentials the Zenpack.AWS does NOT work 100% with Zenoss 4.2.0
So there's definately a bug involved somewhere. It wasn't just my permissions that was faulty.

I am having the same issue, although it discover all the instance, VPC etc I don't see any graph getting displayed. I check the permission on EC2 Account, it has given full access to CloudWatch but still I don't see any activity on graph. Please let me know if you were able to pass that issue. Any help is appreciated

Thanks

What version of Zenoss are you running And the plugin I seem to recall getting that response when running 4.2.3 and earlier.

Thank you
