generate an event only after so many occurrences

Is there a way, probably through a transform, that we can generate an event only after it's occurred, say, 3 times? I've tried a number of approaches, but either they fail (using evt.count, for example, it's not always available at transform time, and suppression, which apparently resets the count) or I get runtime errors. Any pointer in the right direction would be appreciated.

Hello Paul,

You should read this article:

Just make sure that severity of your events is lower (maybe Info) when they are triggered or set the initial severity in the transform script.
