There is no difference between upgrading  from 4 to 5  and for 4 to 6. Here is the link which answers your question.

Yeah, sorry, no upgrade path. But for me, it was a good thing. Allowed for us to purge out old ZenPacks, devices, templates, etc.

You can utilize zenbatchdump and zenbatchload to export devices and their settings (zProps).

I would test all old ZenPacks to verify they work in 6.x.

If you have a bunch of custom templates, you could always add those to a new zenpack to migrate them over as well.
