Hi,
I'd like to get the list of "state conversions" that shows up when you open
* http://yourDomain/zport/dmd/editSettings
in JSON, XML or anything i can easily parse.. Is this possible

It is possible but you need to POST the request not REST, as far as I understand. I returns JSON. Read the API document and see the python or Java samples included.
