Currently running Zenoss Core 5.0.4 on CentOS 7.1
After adding a few devices under the Ping devices subclass I noticed that the Device Status is Unknown. I verified from the Commands menu that I can ping those devices but alas they still show Unknown.
I verified that zenping was running from the CC.
Has anyone else seen this issue

Bump! Any thoughts on this. Does anyone have a working device under the Ping device group that shows the status as Up.
Still showing as unknown for some reason.
